How close is the beach? The beach is a 10 minute stroll along a lovely groomed trail through the forest. There is also access by vehicle.How late is the Recreation Centre Open? The recreation centre is open daily from 9:00am - 10:00pm
How are the cottages equipped? All the cottages are fully equipped including full sets of linens, dishes, pots & pans, hairdryers, dishwasher, washer & dryer, fridge, stove & BBQ's, gas or electric fireplace, and patio furniture on the back decks, etc.
Do cottages have phones? Not all cottages come equipped with phones so if you will require one, please ask for such at time of reserving.
Is there a playground? No, each cottage has a small yard. There is a play area at Rathtrevor Beach and a water park a short drive away in the city core.
What amenities do you have? We have a recreation centre that features a state-of-the art indoor pool, hot tub and exercise room. There is also a 36 hole mini golf course next door.
Do you allow pets? Some cottages are pet friendly. A maximum of two pets allowed per pet friendly cottage.
Is there a charge for extra people? Yes, please see our Rates Section for details.
Do you rent by the week or month only? No, we have nightly stays with a 2 night minimum.

Vancouver Island and Oceanside Village Resort turned out to be the perfect "half way" meeting place for a two week holiday for us (grandparents living in New Zealand) and our son, daughter in law, and two grandchildren (presently living in the Netherlands). We rented two lovely cottages in the quiet village and made the most of their excellent facilities - the swimming pool, mini golf, the on site boutique, as well as what was on offer in the surrounding areas - the beach, great parks for the children, the butterly farm and other tourist stops, whale and bear watching, salmon fishing, and real golf also! And the weather during our visit in mid August was perfect too. We are telling our friends with children and grandchildren on the other side of the world that Vancouver Island and especially Oceanside Village Resort is a wonderful relaxing place to catch up with family.

- Outstanding cottages which are designer decorated. This, along with how well appointed the cottages are made our stay extremely comfortable and felt like home. The surroundings are fantastic with the beach right close by, the mini golf next door and the fabulous amenities on site such as the indoor pool and hot tub made us not want to leave. The friendly staff made sure we were well taken care of which means we'll be sure to return.

We stayed at Oceanside last December. There were 5 in our group and we found the cottage very roomy and well equipped. Well decorated and even the hideabed was comfortable! Parking is excellent and the location is quiet yet very close to the ocean and amenities. Highly recommend a stay at Oceanside Village Resort if you're looking for more than just a hotel room. Perfect for long stays.
